Somerset Grand Hanoi

Somerset Grand Hanoi

Located in Hanoi’s largest commercial and business district, Somerset Grand Hanoi is an ideal place to stay to either work or explore the city, making it suitable for business or leisure. The 25-floor hotel consists of 185 serviced apartments that have been designed to feel like a home away from home. Each suite, ranging from studios to three-bedrooms, contains a fully-equipped kitchen and elegant furnishings.

The property’s owner, The Ascott Limited, has retrofit the existing hotel to improve its resource efficiency and appeal to guests who are committed to a sustainable lifestyle. LED lighting and an energy-efficient air-conditioning system reduce the building’s energy use, while dual-flush water closets and low-flow plumbing fixtures reduce the building’s water use. To further lessen the environmental impact of the project, the redesign included the reuse of existing floors, roof, walls and window frames. The resource efficiency of the building is expected to reduce the hotel’s operational costs by more than one fourth.

As a leading international lodging owner-operator, The Ascott Limited believes it is their responsibility to do their part to reduce the environmental impact of its operations. Green buildings is one of Ascott’s focus areas, as reflected in its commitment to certify all new buildings and major retrofits.

Somerset Grand Hanoi has received final EDGE certification from Vietnam SGS.
