Located in Bogotá in the district of Engativá, Mirador del Jaboque is a social housing project comprised of four towers each with 17 floors, for a total of 544 apartments. There is also a dedicated space for a large children’s playroom. The project has sought to implement practical design principles to achieve savings in the consumption of water, electricity and embodied energy in materials, to help set a trend in the market to prove that all residential buildings can be built green.
Developed by INCOL, which has 50 years of experience in building nearly a million square meters of floor space, Mirador del Jaboque is part of the company’s commitment to CAMACOL’s 2030 Sustainable Construction Business Agreement. The initiative has been undertaken to promote the work of companies such as INCOL who are dedicated to improving the quality of their customer’s lives through the care and proper use of natural resources.
Mirador del Jaboque has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from CAMACOL.
