Grand Madison

The Grand Madison apartments are located in Pomodoro City, a unique and rapidly changing neighborhood of Jakarta. More of a complex than a traditional neighborhood, Podomoro City contains residential towers, shopping malls, offices and hotels, all developed by PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN), a developer intent on changing the urban landscape of Jakarta. With everything they need at their doorstep, residents at the 41-floor Grand Madison residential tower can live a sustainable and modern lifestyle while reducing their carbon footprint. The Grand Madison’s 332 resource-efficient units also ensure that residents can reduce their energy and water consumption, and therefore their utility bills. Features like energy-efficient air conditioning, energy-saving lighting and low-flow showerheads save energy and water, while construction materials such as autoclaved aerated concrete block walls were strategically chosen to reduce embodied energy in materials.

As one of the fastest growing real estate developers in Indonesia, APLN has a vision to provide an alternate way of living. Their superblock developments offer an opportunity to find residential, retail, leisure and office space all in one conveniently dense urban area. As creators of the “Back to the City” campaign, APLN hopes that residents of superblocks like Podomoro City can find an environmentally-conscious lifestyle that is comfortable, convenient and modern. Since 1969 the company has built other superblock developments such as Senayan City and Kuningan City, and plans to continue leading the way towards a better future built environment for Jakarta. Grand Madison has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from Green Building Council Indonesia.
