E.Town 5 is one of five office buildings on the E.Town campus, which is located in the Tan Binh District of Ho Chi Minh City. The resource-efficient building will provide a comfortable work environment, while also reducing operating expenses with a lower carbon footprint.
The building contains 17 floors and saves a significant amount of water, up to 50 percent, with the help of low-flow faucets and water-efficient bathrooms. Other features include an energy-efficient air conditioning system with a water-cooled chiller, limited glazing with thermal properties, and energy-saving lighting with occupancy sensors. These features will help the building save up to 723 tCO2 per year.
E.Town 5 is developed by Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE), a company operating primarily in mechanical and engineering consulting services. Since 1977, the company has embraced modern and innovative design, while also considering its environmental impact. E.Town 5 has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from SGS Vietnam.
