Sotavento Residencial Torre 3
Sotavento Residencial is a five-tower, social interest housing project in Pasto, Nariño. The project’s third tower, Torre 3, will have 16 floors and 192 residential units. The spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments will include a study, laundry area and balcony.
Residents of Torre 3 will benefit from lower utility bills as the building has been designed to reduce energy and water usage through external shading devices, energy-saving outdoor lighting, water-efficient water closets, low-flow plumbing fixtures and more.
Sotavento Residencial’s developer, Constructora Muraglia, is committed to developing innovative real estate projects in Colombia that conserve natural resources. By incorporating resource-efficient technology and features into Torre 3, Constructora Muraglia is providing customers with homes that increase their quality of life and save them money.
Torre 3 has received a preliminary EDGE certificate from CAMACOL.
Predicted Savings of EDGE Certification
Less Embodied Energy in Materials
Reduced window to wall ratio, external shading devices, energy-saving lighting in external spaces and lighting controls for corridors and staircases.
Water-efficient water closets and low-flow showerheads and faucets for kitchen sinks and washbasins.
In-situ reinforced concrete for the floor and roof, and in-situ reinforced internal and external walls.
*Part of the energy efficiency percentage may be associated with virtual energy for comfort depending on the presence of heating and cooling systems. Note that virtual energy does not contribute savings to utility bills.
