Athena

Athena

Athena is a four-story office building in the popular Treicheville area of Abidjan. The office building was designed to provide a comfortable workspace for its occupants, with an energy-efficient air conditioning system to improve thermal comfort while lowering energy usage.

The office building also utilizes LED lighting, lighting controls, dual-flush water closets and low-flow plumbing fixtures to save energy and water usage. The energy and water savings reduce the office’s environmental impact and operating costs.

Athena’s developer, Codef, is an Ivorian construction company that is committed to the sustainable development of the country. This is the first of Codef’s buildings to achieve EDGE certification.

Athena has received final EDGE certification from thinkstep-SGS.
